Hello all,

In February, when STA decided not to go to the Globalpress networking
storage reverse press tour, I thought that was the end of it. Yesterday I
received a call and an email from Gpress in which they offered individual
STA member companies the same 2005 rate that they offered to our STA group.
The information is below. Please note the April 15 deadline.

If any of you are interested, please contact Greg Etemad directly. If you
would like to let me know that you are considering signing up, that would be
fine. Also if you have questions about the STA reverse press tour two years
ago, I would be glad to answer them.

Best regards, Lea

Subject: Updated Press List/Interview & 2005 Rates for STA Members: Network
Storage Tour May 15-19, 2006

Hi Lea,

Thanks very much for your time today and feedback. Although our May Storage
"reverse" press tour (May 15 - 19, 2006) doesn't seem to be good timing for
STA, we appreciate your efforts to see if any member companies might
possibly do this event on their own. You mentioned that some of them seem
to be doing a lot of product announcements, so please keep in mind that our
events are the perfect venue to leverage their announcements with 8-10 key
international editors to get additional exposure and coverage (companies
with announcements tend to get more coverage from our events).

Here is an update below including the confirmed/invited press list (7
confirmed), available times and sponsorship options. Please note that STA
members who confirm participation by April 15, 2006, will get a free private
1:1 interview with an editor of their choice and the 2005 sponsorship rates
noted below.

As a reminder, this event is designed to enable STA members to meet with
senior editors and extend their global reach in a fast-track, cost-effective
news & networking format without the need to travel internationally or even
leave town. Participating companies can host this group of 8-10 editors at
their Silicon Valley area office or our meeting location (in San Jose) for a
private press briefing, followed by an informal networking time over lunch
or dinner (optional).

As a successful past participant, we sincerely hope that some STA members
can join this event (or even STA in case things have changed in the past 2

Space is limited, so please let me know of any interest and questions. I
will keep you posted and follow up on Monday.

Best Regards,
Greg (408-246-6840, x103)
